For Ameren Illinois homeowners. Not a utility. Not a government agency.
Don't tell me. Show me.
Solar and battery options for your home, with every number on paper. If it doesn't add up, we'll tell you.
What happens when you message us.
Send us a message.
Tap the chat button and leave your name and number. About a minute.
We call you.
A short call about your bill and your home. No pressure.
See it on paper, if your home fits.
We sit down with you at your home and go through the numbers.
You decide.
Nothing happens unless you sign. No is a fine answer.

What we show you before you sign.
Who owns the panels.
On a power purchase agreement, the installer's company owns the system on your roof and you buy the power it makes. We show you where the contract says so.
Your rate, and if it can go up.
The price you pay per kWh, and any yearly increase, in writing.
What happens when the power goes out.
Panels alone shut off when the grid does. A battery can keep power on. How much depends on the system.
If solar doesn't add up for your home, we'll say so.
Solar isn't free.
You still pay for the power you use, and you still get a bill from Ameren. What changes is where most of your power comes from and what you pay for it.
Get it in writing.
Every rate, term and promise belongs in the contract. If someone won't write it down, don't sign.
Know who you're signing with.
Ask for the company name on the contract and who will install the system. You should get both before you sign.
Questions people ask first.
Are you Ameren, or part of a government program?
No. Gotta Show Me Solar is a trade name of Titan Solar Limited LLC. We are not a utility or a government agency, and we are not affiliated with Ameren Illinois. Illinois Shines is a state program that provides an incentive for solar projects. We don't run it, and we don't act for the state.
Do you install solar?
No. A licensed installer designs, permits and installs your system. You'll see the name of every company involved before you sign anything.
Is solar free?
No. On a power purchase agreement your system has no upfront costs, but you pay every month for the power it makes, at the rate in your contract. You will also still have a utility bill.
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. The system goes on your roof, so you need to own the home.
Who will contact me?
Only us, from our local number. We don't hand your number to anyone else so they can call or text you. If a different installer is a better fit for your home, we ask you first.
My power doesn't come from Ameren. Can you help?
Right now we work with Ameren Illinois homes. If your power comes from a city utility or a co-op, message us anyway and we'll tell you straight whether we can help.
